How it started
ThauRed started in April 2026 as our own Reddit helper. Reddit is where buyers ask the exact question a product answers, and it is also where a link from a stranger gets removed within minutes. Finding the right threads meant hours of reading; answering them well meant matching the tone of each subreddit. We built a tool to do the reading so a founder could do the talking.
The first version was a dashboard and a Chrome extension sharing one Supabase backend: watchlists of subreddits, every new thread scored for fit against the product’s own description, and a drafted reply waiting for approval. The anti-spam rule was there from day one and is still the product’s identity — nothing is posted unless a human approves it.
What’s next
ThauRed’s own marketing runs on ThauRed, which is the fastest feedback loop we have: what we learn answering threads for the product goes straight into the scoring and the drafts. A weekly blog of Reddit marketing playbooks and tool comparisons documents the method as it evolves.
